Welcome to the Plunketts Creek Missionary Baptist Church web site. We appreciate your interest in our Church. The purpose for this site is to spread the Gospel to the world. We believe the Church is a lighthouse for the community. We stand firm in the old ways. We believe that a person is saved by grace, through faith. No one is deserving of salvation but it is the gracious gift of God. We believe that once a person is saved, they are saved for eternity. Once a person is saved, we believe the next step is to join the Church. Baptism is a symbol of the change the believer has experienced. The sinner has been buried with Jesus and resurrected a new being from a watery grave. The water does not save the person. It symbolizes the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ.

We believe the Church is the working body for Christ here on earth. Our job is to spread the Gospel so that sinners can hear the Word of God and hopefully be saved. The Church is not a building or place to gather. The Church is a group of people who have been saved and are united together to serve the Lord. We come together on Sundays to worship the Lord together and strengthen each other through prayer and encouragement. We believe the Church is one large body made up of many small bodies throughout the world. We believe that when Christ returns, He will call his church with him and unite with her for eternity.
